Nomad Now Supports Customer Order Recommendation Lists

Help customers order exactly what they need—without relying on shared links, emails, or manual setup. Nomad’s new feature, Customer Order Recommendations, gives sales reps and account managers a direct way to build product recommendation lists and assign them to specific customers or teams within your Nomad-powered site.

A rep or manager can create a predefined set of products (with quantities) and assign it to one or more users tied to a customer account. When those users log in and go to their cart, they see a Recommended Products section with the items that your rep or account manager has prepared for them. No hyperlinks to keep track of and nothing to search for. .

From there, customers can review the suggested items, adjust quantities, select what they need, and add those items into their cart before placing the order. Nothing is added automatically, and standard rules like inventory availability will still apply.

This solves a key limitation with shared or saved lists, which typically rely on the sharing of a link and then having to deal with “link version control” whenever the list changes. They also make it difficult to guide multiple customer accounts in a structured way. Customer Order Recommendations keeps everything inside the site and tied to specific users, so recommendations are always visible and easy to act on.
